You can’t just install memory in your laptop. You have to know the maximum capacity allowed for your computer. You can find this in the spec sheet. Next, you need to know how much memory and what kind of RAM is currently being used in your laptop. Once you have your required memory, turn your laptop off. Be sure to disconnect the power cord and any other devices. Locate your memory access compartment, which is normally under the laptop. Some models may have the memory access compartment under the keyboard.
