Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is the second generation of Sony’s XPERIA line of smart phones. This latest generation was introduced in September of 2009. It brings to the high end cell phone market an updated version of the original XPERIA. This latest offering utilizes the windows Mobile .5 operating system.

This second generation smart phone comes with a touch screen that is 3.2 inches and provides 8.1 megapixel photo capabilities. One of the best features of this cell phone is the fully accessible slide-out keyboard. This keyboard is one of the largest in the industry and makes it easy to use, as compared to some keypads that are designed for child sized fingers rather than the hands of a full grown adult male.
Although this generation still utilizes the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, it is differentiated from it’s predecessor as a result of the interface.
