2009 has been a goldmine for mobile phone users as plenty of handsets have been released already and many more are lined up to hit the shelves soon. It operates on the next generation Maemo 5 operating system and has all its functionality derived from Linux software. It has a side sliding QWERTY keyboard with a 3.5 inches wide touchscreen. Internet surfing speed is greatly enhanced due to the presence of HSCSD, Wi-Fi. Pages on the website can be easily surfed and read as the display is large and wide to allow that. The storage space is wide enough to store large number of files in various files and formats. Internal memory is of 32GB which can be further extended by upto 16GB using a microSD card.

Sony Ericsson Satio is one of those handsets which can replace a digital camera. The phone possesses a twelve megapixel camera which can take plenty of digital cameras present in the market for a ride. Additional features of autofocus, xenon flash, video flash, Geo-tagging, face/smile detection add to the quality that this phone provides in terms of its imaging capabilities. Contact can be maintained with friends and family in the form of voice call, video call, text messaging, multimedia messaging, Email and instant messaging. The display screen measures 3.5 inches and is a TFT touchscreen in nature. The resolution is of 360 pixels by 640 pixels and emits a fascinating sixteen million colours. Music can be enjoyed in various file formats with the popular ones of MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, M4A being supported and videos can be played in the formats of WMV, MP4 and 3GP. FM can be listened to in stereo quality coming with RDS technology. Internal memory is of 128MB and can be extended by upto 16GB using a microSD card. An 8GB card is already provided in the pack.
